Due To Trivial Issue 'Lenovo Do Recall ThinkPad X1 Carbon'

Manufacturer of laptops, Lenovo announced that it voluntarily withdraw the ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop. The withdrawal is done because of reports of three Lenovo consumers who have overheated laptop batteries that could potentially cause an explosion.

Lenovo recently announced a sudden recall or repair due to a defective production on the ThinkPad X1 Carbon product. This is actually quite surprising considering the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is one of the elite notebooks and the flagship of Lenovo for the premium ultrabook market. Super thin and light laptop should be recalled because of potential fire, why?

The China-based manufacturer has announced a recall of the elite ThinkPad X1 Carbon ultrabook manufactured between December 2016 and October 2017 because of the potential for fire. The cause of the recall on the ThinkPad X1 Carbon elite laptop is a bit laughable because it is caused by a loose screw. So far it is new Lenovo accept tuga report failure due to this problem.

Lenovo says that this ThinkPad X1 Carbon notebook has loose screws and is left open during assembly. This sounds trivial, but if the screw turns loose and connects to the terminal of the battery it can overheat and the laptop fails to work. In fact, this risks causing the battery to explode.

Based on the information we received, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon recalled impact is using 20HQ, 20HR, 20K3 and 20K4 engine types manufactured in the December 2016 to October 2017 range. Lenovo says the recall process can be done in the service center.

Although the cause of advanced laptop recall ThinkPad X1 Carbon is trivial, but the risks posed really not trivial. Components of the battery is a component that is sensitive and prone to explode if you have problems. Especially ThinkPad X1 Carbon very thin design makes the battery more easily overheated and may have problems.
